Greetings from the Land for Life initiative! As we move further into 2026 — the final year of our current project phase — we find ourselves reflecting on a year that reminded us why this work matters.

A lot happened in 2025. We launched our new Land for Life Toolbox, a comprehensive collection of methods, tools, and insights gathered over more than seven years of practice. We sat at tables with policymakers in Addis Ababa and Washington. We supported communities in Liberia in mapping their land, women in Sierra Leone in asserting their rights, and pastoralists in Burkina Faso in securing their livelihoods.
Behind each of these milestones are people: farmers, community leaders, women, traditional authorities, and dedicated partners working toward the same goal.
